Once again this year, our planning committee and staff have worked hard on this comprehensive program, which addresses the critical needs of professionals and their agencies: courses to work toward certification or licensure, courses to enhance skills to work in an integrated care environment, recovery-oriented care, current and emerging issues, behavioral healthcare integration, and much more. An exciting plenary series also rounds out the program, beginning with our renowned opening plenary speaker, Dr. Howard Shaffer.
Over 90 courses are offered at the program on a wide variety of current treatment, recovery, and prevention topics. The following popular 4-day intensive courses will be offered:
- Recovery Coach Academy
- Substance Use Prevention Skills Training
- Compulsive Gambling Training Institute
Comments from our participants each year reflect the value of this continuing education experience to their work:
"I thought the number of training opportunities was very helpful. I appreciated the number of different presentations I was able to attend and the variety of the trainings. It was really a lot of material presented in 4 days. Great value for the cost. I felt like I walked away with a lot of information."
"I enjoyed every program I attended. I found the information to be very useful in my work and could be implemented immediately.”
