VCPI was pleased to support the annual NAMI conference this past week. We greatly value our partnership with NAMI and this opportunity to talk with many people who want to share their experiences with us. These conversations help us work toward our mission of enhancing and improving the experiences and outcomes of individual and families here in Vermont.
There were two workshops with strong VCPI connections. Dr. Sandy Steingard, from Howard Center and Zelda Alpern, from CSAC provided an overview of the Collaborative Network Approach and facilitated conversation with several people who have experienced working with this innovative practice. VCPI is proud to have supported training in this innovative approach for the last several years. Also, our very own Matt Wolf from the Vermont Federation for Families/ Youth in Transition program shared his enthusiasm about the topic of resilience and the role we all play in building strong communities. Go, Matt!
