March 24th and 25th 2020.

The training is free of charge thanks to the generosity of the

This training is provided by Newman and Strecher International in cooperation with the National Masonic Foundation for Children.

The program is designed to help educators become more effective in recognizing and understanding mental health concerns present in their students. Participants will explore how learning is impacted for children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), Trauma and Toxic Stress. Through engagement, participation in experiences, and close examination of our views regarding mental health, participants will define strategies and develop tools to use to create a climate of acceptance, understanding, and change for your students who are dealing with trauma and mental health concerns.

Note: Lodging is not included for this two-day-training. Morning coffee, donuts and lunch are provided each day.

You will be notified by March 1st with a confirmation email and any additional information we need to share. A wait-list will be created after the first 60 people register. Participation is limited to 60.
