CCV will be offering Addiction: an Introduction to Clinical Skills in a new “Flex” format this spring.
We are hoping the Flex format will be particularly appealing to people interested in earning the AAP. The course is offered online and runs from January 21 through May 4th. Students can choose to enter in one of five enrollment windows and complete the course at their own pace. If they enter on January 21, the course is 15 weeks long. If they enter in a later enrollment period, the course still ends on May 4th and is shorter in duration.
Because Flex courses are new this spring, there are scholarships to encourage students to try the new model. CCV students who enroll in a Flex course will be awarded a $200 scholarship. CCV students who complete a Flex course and complete a quick survey will earn an additional $200 scholarship (for a total of $400).
Admission and Registration Process: Students interested in this course should apply and set up a time to talk with a CCV advisor about the admission process and online learning. Students without a prior college degree will be asked to complete Accuplacer assessments as part of the admission process. Start dates for the course are 1/21/20, 2/4/20, 2/18/20, 3/3/20, 3/17/20. Students are encouraged to enroll early to ensure there is space in the course.
