Caring for Adolescents and Young Adults with Disordered Eating: A Multidisciplinary Training (virtual)
Thank you for joining us on Monday, May 23 2022…with over 400 folks in attendance. Please see below to access the recordings and resources from the conference.
Nationally and in Vermont, there are concerns about increasing eating problems and disorders among youth & young adults. The focus of this conference was on using a multidisciplinary approach to caring for adolescents/young adults with disordered eating. Sessions discussed effective practices of a multidisciplinary team; case conceptualization, assessment, and a brief overview of treatment approaches; exploring the power of language in prevention and recovery; and considering when and how to engage family in treatment. We heard the stories of Vermont patients and families. Attendees engaged with a panel of providers of multidisciplinary care and to connect with other professionals on this important topic.
