In this customized Mental Health First Aid course, participants will learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help. This program, specifically for New Americans living in Chittenden County, is designed to offer basic information about mental health concepts, including education on what local mental health agencies are available and how they themselves or others may connect to these resources.
